I've been writing songs for almost 20 years now, and started writing for the screen about 10 years ago. I'm currently finishing the first draft of a screenplay called 'Bodmin', which i plan to submit to the UK Film Council's First Feature Film Development Programme. Last year i won first prize in a Sony run competition to remix the theme song from the film, 'The Princess Bride'. Under my remix name, Tone's Zone. http://www.acidplanet.com/contests/princessbride/ .
I have many remix's on acid planet. http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?AID=665590
Most of which the music minus vocal is copyright owned by me. Anyone needing original music for their film, feel free to contact me. I'll be posting more about 'Bodmin', once i've finished the first draft. Which should be in the next few weeks.

Hi Anthony
I applied for a grant from the Foilm Council a while ago and you do need to have developed your porject as far as you possibly can. Yes, it is a development process but the want it close to perfect because there is so much competition apllying for the money available. It may be worth looking at BBC Writersroom for information as I have just submited a film to the BBC and the guidelines are very helpful.
It is best to write the treatment etc once you have completed the project because your ideas will change as you edit them.
Good luck with "Bodmin."
