A chance for film makers, actors/actresses and anyone with inside knowledge to post information regarding up and coming open castings in Devon and Cornwall.

When the open castings for extras were announced last winter for Tim Burtons version of Alice In Wonderland, there was a huge response and hundreds of people queued up over the weekend to audition for parts. This discussion is so that open castings and auditions can be posted for all to see - ranging from big films, small scale films, short films, music videos, feature length films, actual speaking roles, extra's slots, big parts, small parts etc. Enjoy!

Auditions: two young actresses wanted for international film
This if for the Chagford Filmmaking Groups seventh film, Sir Lanval, a 12th century fairytale set in King Arthur’s Court. With European Regional Development Fund and South West Screen, you'll get an all-expenses paid trip to France and need to be available for October 31 to November 1 this year, and for May 16-30, in 2010.
Informal auditions take place during the afternoon of Friday, October 9 in Chagford

Small production company in Plymouth is looking for people who just want or need to get experience in front of the camera.
I have made over 100 comedy shorts for the internet. With ongoing production I am stepping up into H.D. and a more professional look, and so need actors for speaking parts who can in turn use this experience for show reels in the future.

Film in St Austell working with teenagers about teenage pregnancy: "We are looking for four adult cast members to play the parts of TV journalist, camera operator, pregnant lady 1 and pregnant lady 2, so let us know if you want to be involved."

Filming takes place on Monday and Tuesday, October 26 and 27 at various locations in St Austell.
